As a medical assistant, the old man had no complaints about Faith. It surprised him a bit that she was as untrained as she was, but then everyone started out that way. They either learned in a classroom or in the field because experience was really the only true way to understand the truth of the medical profession.
"No, so I think I should bring down enough for the both of us." The old man smiled, a crinkle face smile at his far younger protege. It was definitely one of his behaviors to allow himself little slack when in search of an answer. Sleeping and eating became rather unnecessary when he had something he wanted. It was not exactly a healthy mindest to have. "I won't be but a jiff."
In fact, he was gone about five minutes, returning with two cups, one tea and one coffee, as well as two breakfast rolls so that they could eat something. He set her tea down on the edge of her workstation and casually glanced over her reading.
"Ah, bullet removal," he made a less than pleased face. "That was never a favorite." Then he took a sip of his coffee. "Necessary, but not a favorite."
