Who: Dr. Moreau & Faith Where: The Infirmary When: Friday Morning What: The Good Doctor is making friends in his own odd way.
Dr. Edward Moreau considered himself a gentleman. He opened doors for women, stood when they entered, and always remembered to say please and thank you to those around him. He kept his clothes well taken care of, all the more so now since he had not been able to return to his home and get his own and was thus wearing the hand me downs from some other Haven resident's closet. Edward made attempts to keep those in good working order.
Seated as he was in the infirmary, looking at the results of a blood test, he seemed completely at ease. There were a pair of reading glasses perched on his forehead, he used them when he wasn't looking through the microscope. With a distracted sound, he dropped them over his eyes so that he could see the small print on the lab results. He'd been up since dawn already, by choice, to work on refining a counter-drug to the suppression serum the Sentinels were using. Of course the stuff wore off, but making it go away faster would be quite useful for those who were out in the field. Give them one less thing to worry about.
With a sigh, he put the tests away. His counter-drug wasn't working in the way he'd expected. He would have no choice but to go back to the drawing board. He got up with a popping stretch and then moved to see who else was around.
The doctor wasn't surprised to see the young lady Faith about. She was quite the busy young lady, bright and beautiful as well. All qualities worthy of attention. He stood for a moment, not wanting to interrupt her since she seemed rather intent on her own work. Then he lightly cleared his throat.
"I'm considering going upstairs for tea or coffee, would you like me to bring you anything?" Just his usual quiet careful manner, rather like the well manicured nails on his hands. Not ostentatious, but simply well done.
