Justin made a face and shook his head. "Stairs were just a bystander. My shoe won that round," he said, stretching a little. When Shard signaled where his shoe went, Justin looked over and nodded. Popping to his feet, the young man walked over to retrieve the escaped footwear. "Thanks," he remarked, stepping back into his shoe.
"Naw, sometimes I crash into people to introduce myself," he tried a small joke of his own. He didn't seem phased by an unusual name, used to that sort of thing by now. "I guess? What do you mean?" he asked, not offended "Not sure if you're new or not?"
