"Hey, I'm just saying, man," he said as he leaned in, speaking in a low, conspiratorial tone to the pink haired mutant, "Not a hair... out of place." He pointed to the back of Northstar's head as he walked away, brows lifting as if he was proving some big point by doing so. He shrugged it off again as he took another drag of his smoke, looking up at the other mutant. "But uh, no, not together." He could not help but mentally chuckle at the squinty way the Canadian had left, looked like Ric had won another friend.
"Probably. Or something I said? Six of one, half dozen of the other," he said with a wave of one hand. "I... ah...." he began to stammer when confronted about the Robocop comment. "It's just... a nickname for... a friend. It's a long story." He closed his eyes and tried to wave it off. He again wrapped his lips around his cigarette as one brow arched halfway. "That's one hell of a shiner you've got there," he offered conversationally.
