"Yeah, really small world," Jamie muttered, silently thanking his lucky stars that he did not have any dupes spawned at the moment. He could only imagine the rainbow of emotions Fredrick's words would have resulted in. "Who would have thought?" He did not sound quite as enthused as Fredrick. Not that he was not happy to see the man, but with his old friend came a whole lot of baggage, nick names, stories he would rather not be told and all manner of other things. This was going to make the Haven that much more complicated.
He tried to wave off the offer of a ride, shaking his head slowly. He had to shake it slowly, too fast and it would start to ache. "No, it's ok, I'm fine. I spread out the injuries enough, I think. Really, but thanks." Jamie was the kind to insist everyone else get help to treatment while dodging it himself. If a teammate was hurt, Jamie insisted they see a doctor, if they were upset, he would call the psychiatrist for them himself. When he was in need of it, he firmly ducked it, trying to avoid drawing attention to his problems. He allowed the arm around him, though somewhat stiffly, cracking a small smile. "No offense, but I think I'd like to be far away from here before you get behind the wheel again."
