Bobby lifted his upper body, though still on Match's shoulder, to watch what was happening.
The sounds were horrifying.
He had heard screams and cries so brutal and so primal that he frowned as he watched the events unfolding before him. He wished he could do more. He watched the stabbed woman and now, the burned man and couldn't help but think of his father. Of his violent death at the hands of the mob.
He felt strangely connected to these people in a new way. They were suffering something violent together and some of them were showing the wounds because of it.
Bobby kept quiet, realizing the overwhelming nature of everything and hoped for the best.
