Re: Havok & Star - Inside, crowd control
Star couldn't comprehend how these so called guards were meant to uphold order when they were so woefully deficient in their combat skills. They were so easily subdued that they weren't even worthy of his contempt. It was distasteful to him, like fighting defenseless children, even. As such, he was very careful not to cause any permanent damage if he could help it. Then he saw Alex bring that man down with a chair and winced, feeling almost sorry for the fallen guard.
He snorted and grinned at Alex's self-conscious remark. "Your opponent is down," he agreed in a humorous tone.
Then the next wave was upon them. The chatter on the line was staticky and distracting, nothing like the economical and clean signal communication achieved with his Acolyte comm device. It made Shatterstar frown. Maybe the frown had something to do with the sudden frozen light of terror he saw blaze in a few of the guards' eyes when they saw his face. But at least the radios gave them ample warning as to when more company was to arrive.
