"...Well... we... If we... they.... 's just..." Karr was rumbling now and again, his eyes down and a frown firmly on his face as he attempted to find a way to answer Logan. Nothing was coming easily. Karr wasn't opposed to killing as many people as he could, killing felt damn nice when you were angry. but he did want to accomplish something from it all. That really was the kicker. Karr really did want to stick it to these fuckers, to make being a mutant ok, the norm, something to be proud of. He really fucking hated to think that he had been going about it all wrong.
A small rumble curled in his chest, though it was not aggression, and Logan would likely recognize that. It was annoyance, frustration, even a bit of confusion as he tried to find some way to argue, to explain it away, to make himself right. Karr really hated being wrong.
It was Logan's next appeal that got his attention. Dark eyes snapped upwards and focused on the elder as Karr gnawed rather mercilessly at his lower lip with one fang. That frustrated rumble grew a bit louder before he sighed heavily and tossed both large hands up briefly. "Fine," he snapped, tone not quite as sharp as he wanted it to be. "But this better not be bullshit." As of to clarify that Logan was forgiven for his earlier "sins," Karr reached out to snatch up his beer again and drain what remained.
