Karr snarled loudly as he was kicked, instinctively springing to his feet. He slammed both palms down on the table and sneered at the other, but then there was a heavy pause. People in the bar were staring now, and Karr was quite sure Logan would kick his ass--hard--if he got them kicked out. So, with a rumbling, highly displeased grumble, he sat himself down again without any more of a display.
He sank low in his chair, refusing to look at Logan as he crossed his arms and began to stew. His entire body twitched when he was called "boy," he clearly wanting to lash out and show just how much he thought of that term, but he somehow remained put. Logan's words were having an effect on him, and he gave just enough hints that Logan might pick up on, were the man not already past the point of seeing red from aggravation.
They were... rescuing people? Stealing samples of the cure? Oh, this had his attention for sure, even as he tried his best not to show it. "....that's all short-term shit," he grumbled at last, having to think a good long while to find something which Logan had said which he objected to. "Doesn' actually solve the overall problem." Sure, maybe blowing up shit did not solve it either, but it sure took a chunk out of their resources, or so Karr's logic went.
