Logan had yet another occasion to let out one of his trademark annoyed sighs that sounded something like a gravelly groan. He had to keep reminding himself that, in this particular case, smacking some sense into the boy was probably out of the question. Probably. He ignored the persistent thought that told him it would still feel mighty good to try and tried to reason with the kid.
"Life... it ain't a movie, k... Karr," he corrected himself, knowing Karr hated to be called kid. "I know. I've been there. Ya think yer doing a great thing, but all yer doing is killing innocent folks." He licked his lips quickly and went on. "The real big fish? The folks that really need killing? They ain't ever anywhere near the places y'all hit. It's all for nothing," he spat with disgust.
"And it's only gonna get ugly. Y'all don't see it now, but y'are just painting a big goddamn bullseye on the only well-known mutant community on the map. Fat lot of good that's gonna achieve." He then sighed deeply and scrunched up his mouth as he looked for a way to say what he wanted to say next. "You see what I'm saying?" he asked, narrowing his eyes and hoping that at least some of this was making it through to his misguided son.
