He was becoming more confident in himself Who: Karr, OT Logan, James maybe? What: Picking a fight When: Saturday night Where: The streets of New York Warnings: Language, violence, gore, all the good stuff
Karr was all but strutting down the street, while his duster had the collar turned up, he had skipped the hat. Since his activities in the MLF he was becoming more and more confident in himself, not just in his abilities, but in his very identity as a mutant. He had a powerful stride and a confidence to the lift of his chin as he moved through the dark streets. He had enjoyed his time away from the Haven, and the attitude of the MLF had left him feeling both powerful and entitled. His hands were balled into loose fists as he walked, his instincts on edge, for some reason. He was itching for a fight, boredom seemed to have resulted in the urge to draw blood lately, likely thanks to the attitudes of his new teammates.
A scream cracked the night and drew his immediate attention. Eyes dilating, his head twisted quickly towards the source, his pace quickening as he went in search of the fight. Turning the corner, he found a squad of three sentinel soldiers dragging a young woman from her house and towards one of their containment vehicles. She was clearly terrified, and while the Sentinels were not necessarily doing anything wrong, but they were being a little more rough than what was strictly required. This was enough to set Karr off, a savage grin pulling at his lips before he hurled himself head first towards the agents. Short claws unsheathing, he swatted one arm upwards, knocking the helmet of one solider off before his other hand shot out, claw severing the man's jugular. Blood gushed like a fountain as the man fell to the ground, screaming and clutching at his throat.
Karr's eyes glimmered with crazed blood lust and delight as a result, he made a lunge at one of the remaining soliders, only to have a large hole ripped in his cheek by a rubber bullet. He snarled in pain, only to be struck by a dart, then a second and third. It did little to slow him down and really just infuriated him more. He made another pounce for the other solider as the third sent in an urgent radio for back up. Karr was so lost in bloodlust and feral rage that he did not even notice, and would likely find himself in a world of trouble very shortly.
