The sound of gunshots was her first clue that Pete was close. Closer than she had thought he could possibly be, at least so quickly. The poor man must have been running. Again. Why did her powers always lead to running and shooting? God, her parents were right. She was cursed.
The creatures he was running through seemed to have no interesting in him, though there was an interesting variety this time. A handful of humans, but more deer, dogs, cats, and what looked to be a bunch of undead racoons and squirrels. No matter what the variety, though, they all reeked. The ones he was shooting would probably keep the area ripe for several days, at least.
It took a moment for her to find her voice, and when she did Kira prayed it was loud enough for him to hear. "Pete! This way...the clearing. Over by the log." Not particular specific, but she also poked her head up and around the large fallen tree, waving a hand in the air to aid in his locating her. Then gritting her teeth as another wave of power ripped from her. Thankfully this seemed to be the last one for the moment, the sensation leaving her drained and weak, but at least no longer raising anything from the earth.
