"Yes, I believe that is what he alluded to," Ororo was amused by the conversation, but it was only something one saw in her eyes. She didn't even crack a smile at the minor jibe at John and his opinion of himself. "Then I suppose you're going home with us."
Storm, while she wasn't terribly impressed with riding in the Blackbird, did enjoy piloting it. It was probably the fact that if she was in the pilot's seat, she could see through the large windows and thus not feel quite as closed in as she felt when she was sitting in the back. It was very hard to sit in the back of the plane because all she could feel was the way the walls wanted to close in on her.
"I'm sure you'll enjoy it there. Most seem to." Granted, those were the law abiding ones. Even Storm had moments when she wanted nothing more than to get out of the mansion and go do something that fell squarely into the category of illegal. It was hard for her to deal with because she knew her responsibilities meant she was supposed to be setting a good example. Unfortunately, her best example was sometimes not the kind of thing anyone wanted for their children.
