Jubilee's enthusiasm was for the most part ignored. As were her initial questions, which could actually be better called assertions. Storm was concentrating on the movement of things around them. The last thing they needed was to cause a scene after they had done a pretty decent job of keeping a low profile. As far as she knew, no one knew exactly what they had done and now that they were more interested in escaping the rain than in looking to lynch a girl they knew nearly nothing about, she didn't want to draw their attention back to their initial behavior. It was probably a good thing she was concentrating because Pyro's comment might have gotten some kind of reaction from her if she hadn't been.
Once she saw an opening to merge into traffic and drive at the same pace as the rest of the traffic, she took it, slipping in with the flow and seeming as if there were no reason at all to pay attention to their car. As she drove, she finally let herself divide her attention enough to respond to the girl in the passenger seat.
"A full fledged mutant can take any number of shapes and looks, so the answer to your question would be yes and no. Also, no, we are not in any way related to Batman, but were advised where to find you."
The explanation of how or why would have to wait. Storm wasn't entirely privy to the source of the Professor's information, part of his agreement with Ruth was that he didn't make it generally known that she could see the future. So the Professor kept that information between himself, Erik, and Ruth. Eventually it would come out, but for now there was no reason to break her confidence.
"What's your name?" Storm moved on to another avenue of thought with ease, turning onto a new street which would lead them out of the city.
