Scott twitched slightly at the sound of Logan's knives 'breaking in' the gloves, unsure of what, exactly, he was trying to communicate to the rest of the team. Obviously, he didn't need a gun, at least not in the up close and personal phase of a fight, but Scott at least hoped to not get up close and personal. While he was competent at hand to hand fighting, there were too many variables that came into play and it was a lot easier to make mistakes. Much better, in his reasoning, to shoot them from a distance. The repression serum was nasty shit. The Cure nastier still. The further he was from that shit, the better. And if that meant dropping the norms before they even knew he was in the same room, all the better.
"And are the guards packing weapons to take out mutants? Or regular guns? Has the facility been hit before? Or are they still at the point of thinking they're invincible because no one's shown them otherwise?"
