Mya wasn't allowed off the grounds without an escort, which was undoubtedly why Ghost had gone along with her. She was capable of asking to go somewhere and for the most part, even though it was evening moving steadily into night, she didn't have a curfew other than her own sleeping habits. Ghost was enough of a friend to get her to go home before she fell asleep somewhere she shouldn't have. Unless someone else got involved.
Once Network started to play the information she had over the communicator, all Storm could do was try to keep her own emotions under control. She recognized that voice, with its undertone of a growl. There was evidence that monster had been on the grounds at some point prior to the new security system. Storm had made sure to familiarizer herself with everything she could about him, in case he ever decided to come back.
"Network, if Ghost is down, where is Mya?" Ghost was down and bloody. "Send me what you can get." Storm was off the stairs and headed for the garage at a run. "Send Charles and Eric a brief and notify Faith I need her in the garage, now. We're leaving as soon as she gets there."
While anything that occurred off the mansion grounds was technically under the jurisdiction of the Acolytes, Storm wasn't about to wait around for them to get their act together. Mya and Ghost were in danger if Sabretooth was anywhere near them and the normals would more than likely start testing for an X-gene if they got a chance to get a hold of Ghost. She was not about to let him rot in some government prison over a jurisdictional issue.
