Who: Selene, OTA What: Training, sort of. When: Apr. 21st, Weds. Late morning. Where: Breakstone lake Status: Incomplete Warnings: None yet.
Normally she would be her normal cheery self but today just wasn't really one of those days especially because of problems going on at home with her father's health, and her family had told her to stay away. It just made her so mad, the only person that wanted her to come home was her mother. Would it always be this way? The whole thing was just so frustrating. Because of her frustrations she knew this would be a good time to attempt to continue to train herself.
Once she had actually found out there were lakes around the grounds gave Selene a chance to go explore but really she just wanted to go to the more open lake that was Breakstone, at least that was what it was called in the hand book that had been given to new people that come into the Haven. The winds were starting to gradually pick up when she had walked outside and luckily she wasn't in her office at the time otherwise things could have been picked up an tossed around, last thing she wanted to do was destroy things. Or hurt others, outside seemed better. Just like when she had been on the roof and had met Sean, but she had been very upset at the time. It took her a while to walk to the lake but as she reached it's shores it was a beautiful sight she had to admit. This was definitely different compared to Selene's home in South Dakota. At least no one was here, though.
Just in comfortable clothes, t-shirt, jeans, sneakers but a jacket on because of the slight cold, Selene was beginning to try to concentrate. Bringing up her hands she could feel the winds grow slightly stronger but she was trying to remember the anger she had felt and sadness, no one liked to feel these things, but it was how her power became more active. It worked rather quickly as the winds began to blow and move the tree's near by, even creating small waves in the lake that seemed to just get slightly bigger with the increasing winds. With the wind whirling in her ears it made Selene close her eyes to help her concentrate but as soon as she did, the hard winds were actually able to literally sweep her off her feet rather quickly. Her eyes had popped open as she practically levitated a few feet up in the air before getting dropped into the lake where it wasn't deep, but impact still hurt. The cold water didn't bother her much but Selene had to lay there in the water a moment or two just to get her bearings back. “Ow...” At that point, the winds were starting to die since her concentration had been broken.
