Molly wasn't in the habit of judging people, unless they judged him first. Alec's reasons for not having engaged in relationships were his own and nobody else's business. Granted, if Alec ever wanted to talk about it, he would listen, but he certainly wouldn't force him to talk about it before he was ready. Pressuring people never did any good and only made things uncomfortable.
He'd been right about Alec's smile. It was a very nice one. He didn't allow himself to dwell on that though, because he really was doing his best to behave himself and Alec was pretty enough without the smile added into the mix. He was growing rather fond of the other man even with just one conversation, and that was a little concerning. It wouldn't do to get attached like that. Not to someone he barely knew. That would just complicate things.
He laughed as Alec stumbled over his words, not unkindly so much as charmed by the awkwardness. "I look pretty amazing all the time," he teased. "But yes. I'm pretty good with them. I even know some tricks." He paused, remembering a conversation with Jester early in their friendship. "Not sword swallowing though. Doesn't work with a curved blade." Another wink and flash of fangs. "I mean, I can, just not with the scimitars." Let Alec take that how he would.
