Molly had to give it to the guy. He had wit to him. And he seemed well aware of his own qualities. Too many people couldn't recognize their failings. In that respect, he reminded him a bit of Caleb. So serious and somewhat dour but cognizant of the fact and willing to make dry jokes about it. He really did miss Caleb. But that wasn't something to think about now. Now was a night for fun and perhaps flirting with the handsome, grumpy man in front of him. After all, a bit of flirting never hurt anyone.
"Oh, nothing much," Molly said with a smile that showed a hint of fangs. "Just your general...everything." The smile widened just a bit, enough to show he was teasing. Mostly. The man certainly had an air of melancholy about him, a serious that was at odds with his age. Definitely a familiar thing. He was also very handsome, something Molly was all too aware of. He liked pretty people, and this man was certainly pretty.
He laughed at the intentionally flat tone, shaking his head. "Oh, you are an entertaining one," he said. He raised his own glass, returning the gesture and took a long sip. Eros really did make wonderful drinks. He was glad the man had a sense of humor. It meant there was hope for him yet. "But even so, I think we could make it a better time." Sure it was a self-assured notion, but he was a self-assured sort.
"I'm Mollymauk Tealeaf," he said. "Molly to my friends. And I do hope we'll be friends. And you are?"
