teddy + booster.
He hadn't completely fallen for it but there had been a moment's worth of hesitation. A falter in his smile that was enough for Booster to fall into a fit of giggles over. The shove when Ted caught on (quickly because Ted was smart and knew Booster better than anyone) only made him laugh a little harder.
Booster was still grinning as they made their way towards the center of the room and he had to hold back another laugh at Ted's question. "I hope not." He said. Sure, there were a lot of pretty people in this town and there was, at least, one person he wouldn't mind seeing without a suit on but he could see that sort of magic leading to problems. He wouldn't want to be slapped just because he didn't know where to look or not look. "Though, Teddy, if you really wanted me out of the suit..." He teased, flashing his best friend a playful grin over his shoulder as he continued to pull him through the crowd. He was definitely flirting but trying to do so in a way that they could both laugh off without either of them getting their feelings too hurt.
Once he'd found what he deemed a good place he turned his attention back to Ted and reluctantly released his hand. He had been avoiding thinking about midnight too much but, well, it was better to be prepared. He'd know how to react if he knew what to expect. "So..." He started as casually as possible. "What are you thinking? Anyone catch your eye for the whole kiss thing?"
