Re: teddy + booster.
Booster's original idea of something a little more gold and sequined hadn't actually panned out the way he'd envisioned. Sure, no one who actually knew him would've been surprised to find him in something that sparkled and drew attention. He'd been an attention seeking glory hound for most of his life so it only seemed natural that he find a way to draw attention to himself. What had stopped him, however, was the thought of Ted. His best friend probably didn't care what he wore and might've even got a kick out of golden shimmery sequins but there was the idea that he wanted to look nice for the other. So, here he was, not dressed in golden sequins and not really regretting it too much because Ted looked amazing.
The two of them hadn't spent every hour of the party glued to one another's side. The had split up to attack different sections of the food spread or to mingle but, as usual, they always seemed to find their way back towards one another, usually with drinks in hand. Booster had lost count of how many he'd had and had long ago stopped listening to Skeets (who, in turn, had given up) but he wasn't completely wasted. He just felt good. Warm. Those feelings only amplified when Ted nudged him to get his attention.
Booster laughed. "This party is... better than anything we've been to before but you're right. I'm open to suggestions on how to change that if you've got them." He wasn't sure how the two of them could act out but he was open to whatever ideas Ted had. No matter how it looked or what their colleagues thought of him, Booster wasn't always the one with the terrible ideas.
