Felicity & Steve
Felicity had some experiences with fancy parties. Working for the Queens, marrying one, for a period of time in her life there seemed to always be a reason to wear a pretty dress and drink champagne. She hadn't managed to attend many of the parties since arriving. "It really is," she said with a smile. "I haven't been to a party in a long time though so it might just be that effect. Like when you turn the light on after waking up."
She chuckled softly. "That sounded like I'm expecting a lot more from this party than I am. When in reality it was just a very bad metaphor for getting back out into the world."
Looking around, she tucked a curl behind her ear. "This place is incredible though. Is this one of the place that appeared from another place?" Her office had been one of those places. She hadn't found much use for it yet. It was hard to recruit vigilantes or decide whether or not to try to begin her work again. Nightvale wasn't nearly crime ridden enough to need that. "I'm sorry. I babble when I'm nervous. It's also been a long time since I've spoken to anyone other than my daughter who is a baby and my best friend who knows my tendency to babble."
