Felicity had secretly hoped that there would suddenly be a reason that she couldn't go to this party. No one to watch Mia, nothing to wear, anything that would keep her from actually getting back out into the world. It hadn't happened though. Mia had a babysitter and she had a beautiful dress to wear. If she didn't know better, she was pretty sure Laurel had something to do with it.
It took a little bit longer than she would have liked but Felicity found herself getting a little bit more comfortable being there. Leaving her shawl at the table she had posted herself at, she made her way to the bar.
"Excuse me? Can I get one of those drinks with the cotton candy on the top? I keep seeing them around." She sat down on one of the stools and tucked her phone in the pocket in the skirt of her dress.
