"Only honest," she offered brightly, before setting one hand over her heart and giving a slight bow. She knew the gesture was not a common one here, but it was important to her, and she knew the idea would carry over.
At the compliment, she rose, folding her hands in front of her. Relaxed though she may have become, some of her mannerisms still carried over. "I am sure I will." It still felt odd not coming to this with a gift, but it didn't seem to be as much of a thing here.
The last question made her pause. There was an entire process back home, even for dalliances, and it felt odd to go around that. Yet, if she wanted to be more her and less her titles and crown, there was no harm in trying this and accepting help. "I should like to meet someone," it was a little odd to say it like that, and she knew she was blushing a bit. Knowing it meant nothing here if she showed her age a bit made her relax, however. "I just, do not always know how." Being honest about it couldn't hurt. There was wisdom in asking for help when one needed it.
