I get it. Not your exact situation, obviously, but I understand how insurmountable it can feel to even start unpacking decades worth of shit you've been doing your best to keep to yourself. You can read the Tao Te Ching and hear "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" a hundred times, but that doesn't help much when you don't know what direction you're going.
It's a lot easier to burn the whole suitcase. But if I've learned anything from Hawkeye (and admittedly, that seems very unlikely), it's that Molotov cocktails usually create at least as many problems as they solve.
But we can work on it together. Cleaning out our... respective emotional hoarder nests. Actually talking to each other. And actually listening to each other. We're both a little hit-and-miss on that. But I want us to be better.
I've missed it, too. This is probably going to sound pathetic, but living with you in the mansion was the first thing that ever really made me feel less alone.
