[Only fair] Dan understood that she had offered up information without hesitation, so it was his turn to do so. As uncomfortable as it was to speak about his abilities, he could feel her desire to connect. What that word really meant to her was without context without trying to pull at the information.
"Honestly, even after all these years. I'm not entirely sure." He gave a soft laugh. "I pick up thoughts or moments when I'm not trying. When I am trying I can reach across America to telepathically speak someone. I- help the dead move on or stop them from feeding off of others." He shrugged, looking down at his own cup of coffee. The brown liquid was far darker than hers, less sugar, less cream. "I see the past, present and future. I took over my niece once to telekinetically crash the car she was being kidnapped in, but that was only recent. I'm out of practice honestly. I had shut out my stronger abilities for... a very long time until she came into my life."
Stepping around the counter, he gestured to the couch as he headed there with his own drink. "Please, make yourself at home."
