I can tell you, but I have no idea if it'll be familiar or completely new to you, so bear with me if you need more detail. We were reigning in Fillory, like I said, and then Quentin decided to sail off to the outer islands to collect taxes. I think he was bored. I think they were all getting a little bored, except maybe Eliot. He always takes being king seriously. I like that about him. I went with Quentin, one thing led to another, and suddenly we had to find seven magical golden keys or else magic would be gone forever, from all the worlds. Fillory couldn't exist without magic, even if Earth could. We found them, eventually. The last one was in the Underworld. There was a cartographer, Benedict Fenwick? I suppose those details aren't the important ones. Quentin and I went and got it, and opened the door to let magic back in - but he had to leave Fillory to do it. That was a few months ago. Fillory has been peaceful since then, mostly.
The truth is that I don't really need to go back. The others can manage without me. I want to, though. I don't know how to be in a place like this anymore. Things made more sense there.
Does any of that sound familiar, though? The keys?
