Gabriel wasn't exactly sure why he'd suddenly become so very invested in learning so much about this Percy guy. He had his suspicions, maybe, but every time his mind started to wander in the direction of thinking about it too much his thoughts seemed to auto correct back to the gunslinger instead. It might have been frustrating if the idea of a gunslinger in a time of wizards and dragons wasn't something Gabriel would have been interested in when he was in his right mind anyway. It was kind of ridiculous. And he'd always been pretty darn partial to the ridiculous. In a way, maybe the powers that be might have been doing him a favor by forcing this introduction.
Generally Gabriel was aware enough of preferred personal space boundaries to not barge into spaces uninvited but the force that was driving him interest made it easy to ignore that. Doors and locks didn't stop angels unless some kind of warding was involved. So after their brief conversation on the net and a quick mental search of the apartment complex he figured out which room he needed to go to. The only indication that he'd even arrived before he spoke was the ever consistent flutter of invisible wings. He did, at least, have the courtesy not to appear right next to him. He had guns, after all. Getting shot wouldn't kill him but it was totally annoying.
"Knock knock. Except, you know. Not. Your friendly, neighborhood archangel here to pay his respects. Thought I'd just pay you a visit. Save us the trouble of all that typing."
