"Very, it turns out." she added with a shrug. It didn't bother her, really. Everything she was, was tailored to a specific purpose. "You're neither Zagreus nor Thanatos, who do not mind, nor one of the shades. Nor have you broken any oaths," she explained as her reasoning for not deserving it.
She tilted her head, a habit, considering the matter. She found it hard to explain a shade. To her knowledge, all the mortals knew what that meant. "It is what comes to the House, after you die. Your memories, your deeds, everything. So no, not shadows." She glanced around, and did not consider the quest an odd one. She was still not sure the whole turning people into animals and losing their shadows wasn't something the Olympians were doing because it sounded very much like them. "Save the ones here, no." At his mention of Olympus she made a face. If he only knew the amount of work she had because of them. "Blood and darkness, no. I mean the realm of Hades. The Underworld. We call it the House, for ease."
"But I do. Most of the shades try getting out, who knows why considering they have no forms to return to and there is at least one or two fool Kings who need reminding of why they are present."
