Booster & Ted
It was a change, to have any height on Booster for once, but that wasn't nearly the most thrilling thing about the moment - his heart racing in his chest. But a good, happy sort of racing and very much one he was more than willing to maintain for extended amounts of time later on. As tempting as it was to pull Booster up and into his arms, he was content enough to let their lips linger - and to brush his thumbs along the other man's jawline appreciatively.
Ted hadn't thought it was possible to feel even more connected to Booster, they'd literally fallen asleep on top of one another more nights than he could count, and technically already told one another they loved each other. (Dying multiple times kind of brought that to the surface real quick.) Really, there wasn't even a question as to the affection they felt toward one another, but this? This was something shockingly new. Uncharted territory, sure, but certainly not un-thought of and, more importantly, certainly not unwelcome territory.
Even if we don't end up actually watching anything, actually made him grin. No doubt their couch time would certainly reach a new level of intimacy. "I mean, you did already buy me a drink, so, morally I'm okay with that," he replied teasingly, unable to help himself. He'd struggle with his body image issues later, and even then he'd likely just repress them as he often did, and instead hyper-focus on the other man who was basically a futuristic Adonis.
"Let's go home, Boost," Ted repeated happily. If Night Vale had to be the place, the home, where they got to be together again? Then so be it.
