Booster & Ted
"What? No, that's not it at all," he insisted with a quick shake of his head. Of course he was his type - which he wasn't even sure he had a type, his attraction to his best friend was far from simply physical. "I was just.. trying to distract myself, I guess, and it came off really douchey and I'm sorry for that." Ted pursed his lips together for a second and gave a shrug. "I mean it's not exactly like I've been able to stick around the couple of times I've come back, I assumed I'd... y'know," he trailed off with a wave of his hand in reference to dying again.
And honestly the worry of losing it all again would always be there at the back of his mind.
He took in a deep breath. "But honestly that's a bullshit excuse to hold back, because when have we ever let a little fear stop us, right?" Ted joked lightly, but at the same time sort of hyping himself up. They were kings of bad decisions and jumping in over their heads and owning it. Well, except for when serious trouble followed.
There was a pause wherein Ted tried not to get too caught up in talking or overthinking and took a step closer to the other man before he lost the courage. His hands reached out to cradle Booster's face as he leant down to capture his lips in an earnest kiss - something he should have done long ago.
