Booster & Ted
"Or something..." Booster agreed with a chuckle. All things considered the two of them had to be missing something. No one else seemed to have too much trouble finding their dates. There was a trick here, the two of them just weren't putting too much effort into figuring it out. Maybe they should. Maybe one of them should take another spin on the dance floor and actually look instead of simply finding their way back to each other the way they always did.
Booster pushed the thought out of his mind almost immediately. Sure, that was the entire point but another look at Ted's key made him immediately change his mind. He didn't really like the idea of his best friend going home with someone else.
His eyes snapped away from the key when Ted addressed him, caught off guard. "Uhh…" He murmured, the sweat closer to his hairline turning from the pink it always was around Ted to yellow in his confusion. He let out another laugh and shook his head. "Am I projecting again?" He asked, running his fingers through his hair to try and rid himself of it. "I'm fine. I promise."
Deodorant was a glorious thing but Booster had been dancing and having fun before he decided to find the key to his lock. There was bound to be a little sweat. Having his feelings out in the open like this was making him slightly self conscious. He didn't really like the feeling. "I told you I looked ridiculous though." He chuckled before deciding he wanted to change the subject.
He nodded towards the lock and key that Ted was holding. "Wouldn't it be funny if your key was the match to my lock?" He asked.
