kate & beau.
Beau, likewise, wasn't entirely sure why she'd agreed to come, much less to let Molly sign her up to this whole ridiculous lock and key business, but said purple bastard had apparently had more than enough of her moping over absent barbarians she hadn't had the balls to ask out while they were here and could be incredibly persistent. And, not that she'd ever admit it, maybe had a point.
So here she was, working her way through the filthy cocktails and letting the pulsing bass flow through her. The diamonds weren't quite the ethereal fish of Nicodranas, and she didn't have her Captain on her wing, but if she closed her eyes and focused on that pulse she could almost forget she was stuck in some asshole desert without most of the Nein.
A voice pulled her from her reverie and she span to face the speaker and damn. Maybe things were looking up after all. The silence stretched just long enough to be noticeable, perhaps to tip into awkward even, before she replied. "Hey! Hey. It's - I'm Beau."
