Booster & Ted
It was a bit more bold of an atmosphere than they were used to, but it was a nice distraction for them. Mainly for Booster who, like many others, was plagued with that crazy sweat and emoji heart usage. Getting to mingle was hopefully just what the other man needed and, well, a happy Booster was all that Ted really needed. He didn't anticipate to see Diana here, maybe Bruce - though seeing Babs had been a shock. Granted, it was a completely different Babs, but he had already noticed a few similarities to the one he knew and loved.
He nursed his drink over by the VIP stations, taking a moment to watch this Emma Frost character - who in many ways seemed like a super brazen and sexualized version of Ice. Which, in turn brought a whole slew of memories flooding back to him and, well, needless to say he was incredibly thankful when Michael caught up to him. Sappy nostalgic thoughts pushed aside; party time resumed. Ted never really got too drunk - it really wasn't his thing, honestly. A couple of drinks to feel good or numb whatever pain a little and he was fine.
"You'd think they'd be color coded or something," he joked quietly. Though, speaking of colors - Ted gave Booster a considerate glance before the concern about finding the lock for his key was pushed aside. He reached down to take the lock from Booster, inspecting its craftsmanship -or at least pretending to- while he struggled with the idea of his friend possibly going home with another. "How are you feeling, Boost?" Ted asked, referencing the whole colored sweat issue. Deodorant was a glorious thing, but he was sure the thought had crossed his mind a few times during the night.
