Zelda & Arthur Morgan
Magic. Arthur had only really been getting used to the idea that magic was real after he'd gotten here. Sure, he'd had more than a few... odd run-ins back home that he couldn't explain and had met a handful of people in St. Denis and elsewhere that had seemingly been capable of more than just what most people were. But at the same time, there had always been a question of validity and sanity back home where here... Here, there was a certain unquestionability to the effectiveness of the magic people were able to use. So even if Arthur was sure that his expression was looking more than a little gobsmacked at the idea, he told himself to try and not look as confused as he was feeling in the moment.
"I... I don't rightly have an issue with magic," Arthur said, mustering up a slight smile, an edge of sheepishness soaking into it as he realized he wasn't really sure how to explain this situation. "It's just a little new to me. And well... Don't think I ever really considered anything would help it. Just been trying to come to terms with the fact I was dying and do the best I could in spite of it."
