Kate & Tim.
Tim honestly hadn't had any idea what he was walking into when he'd cleaned up to check on the party at a newly opening club in town. Hellfire likely should have told him the sort of things that he should have been prepared for, but Tim, ever the impulsive one, hadn't given this much thought at all, with the only consideration being that he'd been growing increasingly restless with trying to keep things restrained and had decided that if he was going to let loose anywhere, it should be somewhere that would likely be prepared to handle that situation. Or at least, somewhere where him letting loose would have ultimately just added to the ambiance.
But as much as Tim hadn't know what to expect when he'd walked into the party, it did not take him long at all to put two and two together. This wasn't the first key party he'd been to, even if those were usually way less formal and just involved a popcorn bowl and whatever you'd used to drive here. But the dynamics seemed somewhat the same. Even if Tim sort of had to wonder about the 'randomness' of it all when he found himself sitting opposite Kate.
Not that any part of him was complaining about that. They'd had plenty of fun last time they'd ended up in this position. Perhaps a little too much considering the way things had ended. And frankly, the part of himself that had ended up drinking way too much that night was thankful for the chance for a do-over.
"I really hope it wasn't all women that got the locks," Tim said, a vague amusement in his voice as he flashed Kate a playful smile. "Otherwise, that's probably setting a pretty bad precedent. Metaphorically, at least."
