Ray laughed softly at that, nodding. "Fair enough," he agreed. He couldn't help that he wondered about it; there were certain things that piqued his interest, was all. Like the way Miller looked when he was frowning at the keyboard like that, concentrating on his work.
He watched him unplug the monitor and plug it back in, type, and a moment later revealed the cause of his uncertainty.
There were probably small children on Christmas morning, a lot of them, that looked less excited than Ray did when Miller told him it was there. His baby was there. His eyes lit up, lips parted, and he inhaled sharply as he stood.
"It's here?" Ray was grinning from ear to ear like he'd just won the lottery. He couldn't restrain himself; he took the key and kissed Miller firmly and then he was out the door.
