"It'll wash, if you did," Lily replied quietly, practically. "I have some things upstairs that can help with the cuts ..." though she supposed there was a first aid station that had more modern means of mending her. Not necessarily better, but things Kara was more accustomed to.
"I know it doesn't feel like it right now," she whispered. "But it will get better, love. I promise. You'll find a way to come to terms with it, and time really does heal all wounds." She stroked Kara's hair back gently, gazing at the younger girl. "Is there anything I can do for you right now?"
Truthfully, she didn't know what could or would help her, but Lily would do her best to try to help her.
