Who: Kara and open What: being sad about her parents death Where: somewhere on campus When: after Alison gave her the news Warning: sad sad girl
Why had they not told her what they were doing? She had been angry at them for sending her away and now she finds out that they died trying to fight for her rights. The thing that made Kara the most upset was that they died while she was angry at them.
She wanted to yell at Alison some more, but she knew that her sister was just doing what their parents asked her to do. She ran away after the conversation became too much for her, going at almost her max speed, which tired her out after a few minutes. She just ran in circles around the campus, not really with any purpose, just out of anger.
When her legs gave out, she tripped and rolled on the ground for about the length of a football field. She had scratches, cuts, bruises and dirt covering the majority of her body, and nearly lost her shirt, but she didn't care. She just laid there on the ground looking up at the sky, tears streaming down the side of her face.
Those idiots, she thought, how could they do that. She missed them, now. The first time she had really thought about them in a month, and it was because they died, defending her right to be. She had no idea, and now she couldn't even thank them. Or even say goodbye. She could just lie there, crying.
