He thought about that. He thought that he could almost understand what she was saying. He would need further clarification on some things, though apparently he could find that in the library. "Have you adopted me?" he asked. It seemed to make sense. He'd arrived here, she was waiting for him, and now she was helping him find answers to his questions. He wasn't sure what 'parents' were, exactly, but the connotation seemed to follow that sort of logic. That they would watch, help, guide. It made sense to him.
"Libraries sound very useful," he said. "Will they be able to answer questions if I ask them?"
He did not think he quite understood what a library was yet. Perhaps it was something you had to see to really understand.
