"I... that's..." he pointed, frowning. It sounded sort of familiar, rabbit and turtle and... something. He could almost figure out where she was going with that, but not quite. He shrugged his shoulders, and grinned sheepishly. "'Spose so. But don't tell no one - M'content enough t'play the fool 'round here."
"Reckon you can get creative when y'don't need to too," he said with a smirk before he gazed around him. The trees shuddered again, and he started, looking around sharply. So he wasn't completely over the movie yet. So what? There were killer plants in the park. He'd read about it in the paper.
"So..." he said to her, in an effort to get over it. "What've you been upto since we last ran into each other? 'Sides going out for lunch with medieval folk?" He was proud that he'd remembered the right word to use and everything. It sort of showed on his face.
