He was going to point out that if River was curious enough about Jaime to take enough of a shine to her that Mal had had to ask her to quit stalking, that Jaime was going to have to worry about getting used to her. Eventually, either River would grow tired of being subtle (actually he wasn't sure about that one) or Jaime would get better about noticing the girl's hiding spots, but he doubted very much that River had given up watching Jaime entirely.
He wondered how much of that was his own fault for taking an interest, however small, in the first place. But there you had it. He couldn't much help that now.
"S'pose not," he said with a shrug. He hadn't given it much thought beyond that it was rather nice of folks to have set up a spot for the dislocated individuals. Though he supposed that Jaime had a point that it was only fair to pay them back by finding a way to support themsel...
"Robin?" he raised an eyebrow, both surprised and annoyed at the way his mind latched onto the name, like it was important. "Can't say I recognize the name. He a friend of yours?"
