"Hello, love," she greeted her son softly, returning his hug. It was nice to hear them talking about things she'd never get to experience first hand; she could at least live vicariously through them.
"We should have invited him along," Lily mused, her brow furrowing. But then, maybe he hadn't been reading the network and when he did, he'd scoot out and come find them. They'd likely be hard to miss.
She also reasoned Kara could catch up with them quickly enough - and Lily almost laughed aloud at her thoughts. Kara could likely zip around the entire neighborhood a dozen times before they even reached the park.
"So we're all set then? Wands ready and the like? I want to try to harvest some of the plants, so don't kill everything," Lily added with a teasing smile. "Keep a little herb garden for potions and the like, as long as the plants are here."
