"Most people are stupid," Felicity said frankly. "If anyone is idiot enough to judge by what their eyes alone tell them, then they aren't worth your time. You aren't acting like a monster, so why should I treat you like one? Do unto others, and all that."
Though as she studied him, she supposed she could see easily enough why people might be intimidated by him.
But then ... most people weren't on first name terms - such as it was - with dragons. "My great uncle Charlie has a dragon reserve," she said in response to her own thoughts and how she'd come to that conclusion, realizng belatedly she hadn't spoken most of the bit in the middle. She sighed.
"Sorry. I'll do that a lot. Think through a thought process and ... kind of randomly go somewhere else. But I'm all right, thank you," she concluded in regard to his offer about her books.
