The morning began as normal as it could possibly be for a girl who could run faster than the cars from The Fast and the Furious living in a place where a dragon roamed the campus. She woke up, ate 12 pancakes and a plate of sausages and bacon. She also grabbed a couple of those mini cereal boxes just before leaving.
Thus far, she had only met people a good bit older than her, and she didn't want to be considered the kid who keeps trying to hang out with the adults. She knew no one thought of her like that at the moment, so it wasn't as though she was worried someone thought that. She more just figured, if one of the people she met wanted to hang out with her, then she'd be happy. For now though, she would just continue trying to find things to keep her amused.
She ran the length of the campus in a matter of seconds and her mind came up with something that she could have some fun with. She felt a bit saddened by the thought at first, but still amused. She seemed to appear out of nowhere at the tennis courts, hoping there would be some gear accessible since she had never played tennis before, so obviously she had no racket.
After rummaging through a store closet nearby, she managed a beat up looking racket and a couple of green tennis balls. She hit one of the balls hard, but a bit too low, so it hit the net. The next one she hit, however, went right over the net. She took off at the speed of a Nascar to appear on the other side of the court, where she hit the ball back. She then went back and forth like this for a few minutes, until she hit the ball back into the net.
