Jaime dropped her chin and opened her eyes at the greeting. She studied the girl in front of her. "Hey," she replied with all the enthusiasm she could muster - which wasn't much. She, after all, wasn't much of a people person (anymore, anyway), and she was peevish and annoyed about things that had nothing at all to do with the girl.
It didn't mean she wouldn't be taking it out on her though. Jaime was just like that.
Still, a closer inspection revealed a lack of recognition, and Jaime thought it was safe to assume the girl was new ... and she was so not in the mood to play welcoming comittee.
"New here?" she inquired, all set to direct whoever this person was to the people in charge, though she supposed she'd be subjected to the barrage of questions that inevitably followed.
