Favorite Genre to write: Short stories, mostly. I used to write really bad poems when I was younger. Original stuff, but fanfiction mostly; I like playing with other peoples characters. I can't do novel length in original pieces, I've tried but I always end up distracted. That probably says more about the quality of my originality than it does my attention span, though.
Favorite Author: None. I have favorite books, favorite stories, but I don't necessarily think of the author as a favorite. I like The Dark Tower by I don't like Stephen King. I know that probably doesn't make sense, but. I guess, just because I like one doesn't mean I'm going to like something else.
Favorite Books: Death Be Not Proud from John Gunther, The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.
Have you ever been published? A poem in a little publication a few years ago, but I haven't had the nerve to send out any short stories yet.
What would you like to see happen here? Well I hope the prompts are going to be something a little different from the norm. That it becomes and stays active. There's not much happening here at IJ at the mo', except an increase in RPGs. Not that there's anything wrong with RPGs, but as I don't participate in them I'd like to see an active community that caters to my type of writing. |
