Who: Lily and Severus What: A romantic evening at the lake When: Wednesday evening Where: The Hogwarts lake Rating: TBD Status: Incomplete
Lily, normally a bookworm at heart, felt like her classes and homework dragged throughout the day. She had been embarrassed a few times when a professor had called on her just as she was zoning out and she hadn't known an answer. Some of her Gryffindor friends had given her strange looks, and those who were more in the know wrote her off as crazy. Any girl who could love Severus Snape had to be either insane or brainwashed, or at least that was how most of the people Lily knew saw it. But that only proved to her further that they didn't deserve her friendship, and she was in the process of dissociating with them.
The days always went by much too slowly whenever Lily had an upcoming date with Severus. But now it was all over, and it was fast approaching 6:30, the meeting time they had agreed upon. Lily had painstakingly curled her hair and applied her makeup, dressed, and headed outside to wait for him. She was early this time. Pleased with herself, she sat on some dry ground and watched other students who were hanging around. Some were doing homework, some were chatting, and some just stared off into space.
Lily hoped they would go inside and eat dinner soon, because she really wanted another kiss from Severus.
