Sookie listened to Max with intent. She probably should've put his order in before they started having a conversation, but interrupting it would be rude and she was enjoying getting to know this stranger. She smiled politely as he spoke, she knew of the disappearances that were happening around her county so the news was still sad but it wasn't enough to unnerve her. She was getting used to waking up and finding someone else was gone. She nodded and laughed with him, she did know what happens when a person gets the inside scoop. Lately she was used to being used for her telepathy and she knew what men could do with inside information about her, but it wasn't all grim. She was learning how to manipulate back.
"You won't find too many people who haven't heard of Fangtasia around here," she said, "It's kind of like a thrill ride as well as a bar and like a thrill ride it's very high on the places to hit while you're in the area," she explained the place to the stranger, "So you're a journalist then? But you're not used to writing these kinds of stories."
