Harry grinned at her and did his best to lead her in a simple series of steps to the music, though she probably didn't need him to lead. Still, he wanted his dancing lessons from the Yule Ball of his fourth year to count for something. With anyone else, he may have felt silly, but with Luna he didn't feel the least bit ridiculous.
He wondered how she did it - how she could stay so happy, caring, and sweet when it sounded like enough bad things had happened to her as well. His mind went back to what she had told him about her mum's death. But he didn't want to ruin their happy moment by talking about that.
"I would've never guessed all this about you, Luna. I mean, your travels and all you've seen," he told her. "I'm really glad you told me."
